Welcome to GoodLuckCraft. We help you create personalised animated greeting cards and download them as GIFs in seconds. By using our website, builder, and API (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1) Who we are

2) What you’re getting

  • Our builder lets you create a personalised animated greeting and download a GIF instantly after payment.
  • We may also offer a simple API to help you share or deliver your GIFs.

3) Using the Service

  • No account is required.
  • You must be 16+ to use the Service.
  • Keep your device and connection secure.
  • Don’t misuse the Service or try to break, copy, or resell it.

4) Payments & pricing

  • We charge a pay-per-card price (e.g. £0.99 per GIF). The current price is shown at checkout.
  • Prices may change at any time (changes won’t affect orders already paid).

5) Delivery (digital download)

  • After payment, your GIF is generated and made available for instant download (and/or via a download link sent to your email).
  • If a download link is provided, please save your GIF promptly. Links may expire.

5a)File Retention & Support Window (7 Days)

  • Auto-deletion: All rendered GIF files and related temporary data are automatically deleted after 7 days from creation. We do not guarantee storage beyond this period.
  • Download promptly: Please download and save your GIF immediately. Links may expire and files are purged after 7 days.
  • Support window: Any issues (e.g., rendering errors, broken links, duplicate charges) must be reported within 7 days of purchase so we can re-deliver or refund if applicable.
  • No long-term backup: We don’t provide archival storage. After deletion, recovery is not possible.
  • Your responsibility: Keep a local copy/backup of the GIF if you intend to reuse it.

6) Refunds

  • Because this is a digital product delivered instantly, refunds are generally not available once the GIF has been generated and delivered.
  • If your order fails to render or the file is corrupted, contact us at support@goodluckcraft.co.uk within 7 days and we’ll re-deliver or refund if we can’t fix it.

7) Your content & acceptable use

You’re responsible for the text, names, and any other content you enter into the builder (“Your Content”). You agree not to create or share GIFs that:

  • break the law or someone else’s rights (including copyright/trademarks),
  • contain hate speech, harassment, or illegal content,
  • are defamatory, obscene, or encourage violence,
  • spam, mislead, or impersonate others.

We may remove access or block usage if you breach these rules or the law.

8) Ownership & licence

  • Templates, animations, code, and the Service are owned by GoodLuckCraft or our licensors.
  • Your Content (the words you type, names you add) remains yours.
  • When you pay and export a GIF, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the exported GIF for personal and business purposes, including posting on social media, messaging, websites, and in customer communications.

You may not:

  • resell or redistribute our templates/animations as standalone assets,
  • claim our templates/animations as your own,
  • use the Service to create content that infringes others’ rights.

If you need a broader licence (e.g., reselling the GIFs as a product line), contact us.

9) API terms (if you use it)

  • Keep your key secure; don’t share it publicly.
  • Respect any rate limits and fair-use rules.
  • No spam or unlawful content.
  • We may suspend API access for abuse or security reasons.

10) Availability & changes

  • We aim to keep the Service available and fast, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
  • We may suspend the Service for maintenance or security.

11) Third-party services

We use trusted providers (e.g., Stripe) to process payments and may use third-party hosting/CDN. Their terms and privacy policies apply in addition to ours.

12) Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy: [link to your Privacy Policy].
By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

13) Warranties & liability

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties (express or implied).
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, loss of data, business interruption).
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

14) Chargebacks & disputes

If you have an issue, contact [[email protected]] first so we can help. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to the suspension of your access.

15) Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, create unlawful content, or misuse the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version with the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we may provide a notice on the site. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless a different local law requires otherwise.
